I had the great pleasure of shooting Ani Difranco at The Burton Cummings Theatre for guttersnipe this past Saturday evening.What a fiercely energetic guitarist Ani is! I am not surprised in the slightest that I heard someone yell out "Ani, you're my hero" from the audience, those who love Ani truly adore her!
Awe, Ani! I saw her for the first (and only) time 9 years ago at Folk Fest on the day of my 19th birthday. Best birthday ever!! These photos are awesome Ailsa, and I'm totally jealous!
